Fuddy Meers With Jane Krakowski Pulled From Edinburgh

News   Fuddy Meers With Jane Krakowski Pulled From Edinburgh

Jane Krakowski, who played Elaine Vassal in "Ally McBeal," was expected to make her British stage debut in the European premiere of the award-winning absurd comedy, Fuddy Meers, at this year's Edinburgh Festival, but the show has been withdrawn from the Festival. It is believed that this was due to problems securing financial backing, a perennial problem with any theatrical production, let alone a Fringe one.

This means audiences have lost the opportunity to see David Lindsay Abaire's fascinating play in a production that was to have been directed by Stephen Henry.

However, the strength of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival is the range and number of its shows, and there's still plenty to choose from.
