News Full Cast Announced for U.K. Arena Tour of Jesus Christ Superstar The full cast has been announced for the forthcoming arena stage tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber and TIm Rice's Jesus Christ Superstar that begins performances at London's 02 Arena Sept. 21 for a four-night run through Sept. 23, prior to touring Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Cardiff, Birmingham, Manchester, Belfast, Dublin, Liverpool, Nottingham and Sheffield. There will also be an additional London date at Wembley Arena Oct. 17.

Alexander Hanson, who reprised his London performance as Fredrick Egerman in the last Broadway revival of A Little Night Music when the Menier Chocolate Factory production transferred to New York, is to play Pilate, joining the previously announced principals Tim Minchin as Judas, Melanie Chisholm as Mary Magdalene and Chris Moyles as King Herod, with Ben Forster, chosen by public vote on ITV's Superstar casting program, as Jesus.

Fellow Superstar finalists Jeff Anderson and Tim Prottrey-Jones will appear in the ensemble with Pete Gallagher as Caiaphas, Gerard Bentall as Annas, Micahel Pickering as Peter and Giovanni Spano as Simon Zealotes.

The ensemble comprises Jack Booth, Alice Capitani, Ian Carlyle, Leon Craig, Krysten Cummings, Christos Dante, Stephen John Davis, Keisher Downie, Ffion Emyr, Lily Frazer, Ryan Gibb, Zoe Green, Bob Harms, Clare Ivory, Sam Jackson, Jack Jefferson, Sia Kiwa, Antony Lawrence, Leon Maurice-Jones, Brian McCann, Alana Murrin, Tim Newman, Tom Parsons, Rhiannon Porter, Adam Pritchard, Gala Robles, Lucas Rush, Benedict Smith, Russell Smith, Phil Snowden, Adam Strong, Ali Temple, Jon Tsouras, Alex Tucker, Marie Walker, Russell Walker and Karlene Wray
