News   Full Cast Announced for West End Return of Jumpy, Originally Seen at Royal Court

Tamsin Greig and Doon Mackichan will both return to the cast of April de Angelis's Jumpy, to reprise the roles of best friends Hilary and Frances, respectively, that they originated in the play's Royal Court premiere, when it transfers to the West End's Duke of York's.

It begins performances there Aug. 16, prior to an official opening Aug. 28, for a run through Nov. 3.

Also returning to the company are Seline Hizli, Richard Lintern, James Musgrave, Bel Powley and Ewan Stewart, who will be newly joined by Ben Lloyd-Hughes and Amanda Root.

In the play, "Hilary is a mother, a wife and fifty years old. She once protested at Greenham Common against American military being stationed there. Now, her protests tend to focus on persuading her teenage daughter to go out fully clothed."

The play is directed by Nina Raine, and brought to the West End by Royal Court Theatre Productions and Ambassador Theatre Group.
