Ken Rus Schmoll directs the play, previously seen Off-Off-Broadway in a 13P production, which will land at the downtown Off-Broadway venue Oct. 19 for a Nov. 7 opening. The run is currently slated through Nov. 26. Parisse plays a beautiful female colleague to a young American businessman (played by the previously announced Zak Orth). Their meeting at an airport sets off a series of a "surreal and unsettling journey in a country where he does not speak the language, " according to a release.

Joining Parisse and Orth (Misalliance, Major Barbara) in the cast are Liam Craig (Aunt Dan and Lemon), Gibson Frazier (Heddatron), Nina Hellman (Trouble In Paradise) and Ken Marks (Stuff Happens, After The Fall).

The design team for The Internationalist features Andromache Chalfant (set), Michelle R. Phillips (costumes), Jeff Croiter (lighting) and Robert Kaplowitz (sound).

On stage, Parisse has appeared in Coastal Disturbances at Berkshire Theatre Festival and Off-Broadway in Keith Bunin's The Credeaux Canvas at Playwrights Horizons.

Last season's successful run of the musical [title of show] currently plays a return commercial run at the Vineyard Theatre through Oct. 1. The company's 25th season (subject to change) continues with Tina Landau's staging of J.M. Barrie's Mary Rose (January/February 2007) and a developmental Lab Production Series run of Nicky Silver's The Agony and the Agony (Spring 2007) staged by director Terry Kinney for Vineyard Theatre members only. A fourth production (to play in the spring of 2007) is yet to be announced.

Tickets for The Internationalist at the Vineyard Theatre, 108 East 15 St. are on sale through 212-353-0303. For more information, visit www.vineyardtheatre.org.
