When Ruben & Clay’s First Annual Christmas Carol Family Fun Pageant Spectacular Reunion Show bows at Broadway’s Imperial Theatre, the titular stars and former American Idols will be joined by performers Farah Alvin (It Shoulda Been You, Nine), Ken Arpino (National tour Mamma Mia!, Legally Blonde The Musical), Julian Diaz-Granados (national tour Junie B. Jones), La’Nette Wallace, and Khaila Wilcoxon.

In a variety show-style extravaganza, audiences will enjoy music, entertainment, and comedy from the “odd couple,“ who are reunited for the first time on a national stage since the American Idol Season 2 finale in 2003. The Season 2 champion (Studdard) and runner-up (Aiken) are looking forward to singing their favorite holiday songs and sharing personal stories with audiences during the three-week limited run through December 30.

Written by Ken Arpino and Jesse Joyce and directed by Jonathan Tessero, the show has musical staging by Lisa Shriver and music direction by Ben Cohn. The design team includes Rob Bissinger (sets), Paul Miller (lighting), James Brown III (costumes), Bruce Landon Yauger (sound design), and Jason Lee Courson (projection design).

A portion of the proceeds from the Broadway run will support the National Inclusion Project, one of the leading voices for the inclusion of children with disabilities—co-founded by Aiken in 2003.
