News Fun Home and Something Rotten! Announce National Tours Two more of the spring season's new Broadway musicals announced national tours May 20: Fun Home and Something Rotten!

Tony-nominated director Sam Gold will stage the Fun Home, which will go out during the 2016-2017 season, according to a production spokesperson. The creative team of Something Rotten! will reconvene to mount their tour in January 2017, according to the show's publicist.

The two Tony-nominated shows join an increasingly crowded field planning to crisscross North America, along with Finding Neverland, An American in Paris, The King and I, On the Town and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.

None of the above shows has announced cities or dates yet. Shows from recent years, including If/Then, The Bridges of Madison County and Matilda the Musical, have announced specific bookings.
