News Funaro to Star in Fresh Kills Off-Broadway The U.S. premiere of Elyzabeth Gregory Wilder's Fresh Kills will begin performances Off-Broadway at 59E59 Theaters Feb. 12.

Working Man's Clothes presents Wilder's Staten Island-set work, which is scheduled to officially open Feb. 15 and play a limited engagement through March 1.

Isaac Byrne will direct "Sopranos" actor Robert Funaro in a cast that also features Jared Culverhouse, Todd Flaherty and Therese Plummer.

In Fresh Kills, press notes state, "Eddie is unhappy and restless but his wife is too concerned about the new kitchen cabinets to notice. When Eddie meets mop-top teenager Arnold on the internet, his hopes for quiet consolation are shattered when Arnold wants more than a rendezvous and Eddie's family becomes Arnold's obsession."

Elyzabeth Gregory Wilder's Fresh Kills premiered to critical praise at London's Royal Court in 2004. Her plays also include Gee's Bend, The First Day of Hunting Season, Jubilee, Tales of an Adolescent Fruit Fly and The Theory of Relativity.
