Director George C. Wolfe surprised Bring in 'Da Noise, Bring in 'Da Funk star Savion Glover on stage with a curtain call birthday cake in honor of the performer's 23rd birthday.

The large cake was shaped into the six letters of the actor's name, S-A V-I-O-N, which Glover playfully cut.

Noise/Funk premiered at the Joseph Papp Public Theater Off Broadway in the autumn of 1995, and transferred to Broadway this spring to glowing reviews. To purchase tickets or for more information, please refer to the Broadway Theatre Listings on Playbill On-Line.
