News Further Casting Set for Broadway's Fiddler on the Roof; "So You Think You Can Dance" Winner Joins Leads Melanie Moore, who won season eight of "So You Think You Can Dance," will join the Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof starring Danny Burstein. Also announced are Nick Rehberger, Adam Dannheisser and Karl Kenzler.

Moore, currently playing Peter Pan in Finding Neverland, will star as Chava, with Rehberger (The Glass Menagerie) as Fyedka, Dannheisser (Rock of Ages) as Lazar Wolf and Kenzler (You Can't Take It With You) as The Constable.

Also cast are Eric Bourne, Jacob Guzman (Newsies), Reed Luplau, Brandt Martinez (Aladdin), Sarah Faye Parker, Marla Phelan (Sleep No More), George Psomas (South Pacific) and Jonathan Royse Windham.

In addition to Tony Award nominee and Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Award winner Danny Burstein (Follies, Golden Boy, South Pacific) as Tevye, the cast also features Tony nominee Jessica Hecht (A View From the Bridge, The Last Night of Ballyhoo) as Golde and Adam Kantor (The Last Five Years, Next to Normal, Rent) as Motel. The production will be directed by Tony winner Bartlett Sher with choreography by Hofesh Shechter, inspired by the original work of Jerome Robbins. Tony winner Ted Sperling is the musical director.

Previews Nov. 12 prior to an official opening Dec. 17 at The Broadway Theatre.

Fiddler on the Roof has a book by Joseph Stein, music by Jerry Bock and lyrics by Sheldon Harnick. The original Broadway production of the show, which opened in 1964, had the first musical theatre run to surpass 3,000 performances. The show won the 1965 Tony Award for Best Musical.

The production will also have scenic design by Michael Yeargan, costume design by Catherine Zuber and lighting design by Donald Holder. Fiddler on the Roof will be their fifth Broadway production working with Sher. Sound design is by Scott Lehrer; casting is by Telsey + Co./Abbie Brady Dalton.
