News Gabrielle Ruiz and Jose Sepulveda Will Take Part in Reading of David Davila's Adan y Julio Lone Star Theatre Company will present a free staged reading of David Davila's Adan y Julio May 7 at 7 PM in the upstairs reading room at Hourglass Tavern.

Directed by Schnele Wilson, the reading casts Jose Sepulveda and Raphael Eilenberg as the star-crossed lovers with Gabrielle Ruiz.

David Davila's Adan y Julio, according to press notes, "tells the story of gay teenage lovers who are caught on two different sides of the Mexican Drug war. Can they break away from the dangerous world of the Texas/Mexico border, or is death their only escape?"

Rounding out the cast are Christopher Romero-Wilson (Erasmo), Lillian Small (Juana), Sarah Elizondo (Veronica), Mark Kinch (Arcadio), Matthew Castlemann (Gallo), Jian-Carlos Vasquez (Pacito) and Cesar Anthony Villavicencio (Sapphire).
