Directed by Christopher Gattelli — a 2008 Tony nominee for Best Choreography for South Pacific — the production will run through Feb. 28. Opening night is scheduled for Jan. 21. Silence! The Musical features a book by Hunter Bell and music and lyrics by Jon and Al Kaplan.

Silence! was the winner of the 2005 FringeNYC award for Outstanding Musical. The musical, according to press notes for a previous reading, "follows F.B.I. trainee Clarice Starling as she uses her relationship with Dr. Hannibal Lecter to hunt serial killer Buffalo Bill. The production transforms the film's dialogue into a full-scale musical, complete with singing serial killers, unprintable titles, and a chorus of tap-dancing lambs."

In addition to South Pacific, Gattelli choreographed Broadway's 13, The Ritz, High Fidelity, Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me and the revival of Sunday in the Park with George. He was seen on Broadway in Cats and the revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Gattelli also choreographed the long-running Off-Broadway musical Altar Boyz.

Peter Bull and Victoria Lang will produce the London run.

The Above the Stag Theatre is located at 15 Bressenden Place, London. For tickets, priced £12, call 020 8932 4747 or visit www.abovethestag.com.
