News George Saunder's Pastoralia Presented at P.S. 122 Sept. 21-Oct. 9 Yehuda Duenyas, co-founder of Brooklyn's well-regarded experimental group The National Theater of The United States of America, will direct his adaptation of George Saunder's story Pastoralia at P.S. 122 Sept. 21-Oct. 9.

Saunder's work tells of Ed and Janet, who are employees at a historically themed amusement park. Attendance at the park is off, and the two face potential layoffs. In the end, they must choose between saving their jobs and saving their dignity. Starring are Ryan Bronz, Aimee McCormick, James Stanley, Jesse Hawley, Richard Ferone, Alissa Ford, Dmitri Freidenberg and Peter Lettre. The first four are members of The National Theater of The United States of America.

Duenyas has designed, directed and produced such productions as X9601733, Brains, 5 and 7 Minutes in Heaven—all presented by The National Theater of The United States of America. He was also part of the collaborative National Theater works Pacebo Sunrise, Superconfidence and What's That on My Head? As an actor, he has been seen in House by Richard Maxwell and Pearls for Pigs by Richard Foreman.
