Some consider it the ultimate statement that you've "arrived" in New York Theatre. It's your caricature up on the wall at Sardi's Restaurant. The latest luminary to get this honor will be director Gerald Gutierrez, who gets signed and framed Apr. 16 at 6 PM (ET) at the West 44th St. eatery.

Invited to the champagne reception are Cherry Jones (the Gutierrez helmed Heiress), Sarah Jessica Parker (from the Gutierrez-staged Once Upon A Mattress), Elaine Stritch, Eileen Heckart, Frances Sternhagen, Marian Seldes, Jane Alexander (Gutierrez' Honour), Kevin Kline, Sam Waterston (Gutierrez' Abe Lincoln In Illinois), Wendy Wasserstein, Anthony LaPaglia, Sam Cohn, Bernard Gersten, Andre Bishop, Michael Price, Alfred Uhry, Todd Haimes and theatre writer Alex Witchel.
