News Gerard Canonico, Adam Kaplan, Lauren Pritchard, Alex Wyse and More Will Join 54 Below's Big Band This Month Following multiple sold-out engagements, Charlie Rosen's Broadway Big Band will return to 54 Below Aug. 22 to continue an official residence for 2015.

Guest vocalists Gerard Canonico (American Idiot, Spring Awakening), Adam Kaplan (Newsies), Samantha Massell (The Hunchback of Note Dame), Lauren Pritchard "LOLO" (Spring Awakening), Kacie Sheik (Hair) and Alex Wyse (Spring Awakening) will all make their Broadway Big Band debuts alongside returning favorite Margo Seibert (Rocky).

Max Friedman directs the 9:30 PM concert; Friedman and Rosen co-produce.

According to 54 Below, "Join Broadway bandleader Charlie Rosen (Honeymoon In Vegas, One Man, Two Guvnors) for an evening that puts classic showtunes on display, sung by the best and brightest of Broadway's young generation of leading performers, in the timeless tradition of Big Band. A full sized jazz orchestra composed of 17 musicians play Rosen's re-imagined arrangements of an eclectic mix of tunes from Broadway's past, present, and beyond!"

Rosen is a Drama Desk nominee for his contributions to the orchestration for Jason Robert Brown's Honeymoon In Vegas and was recently heard playing in the orchestra for John Kander and Fred Ebb's The Visit at The Lyceum Theatre.
