News Gertner, Johnson, Redd and Voytko Will Sing New Works in Bright Lights Concert The Bright Lights concert series, which is devoted to showcasing the work of up-n-coming musical theatre composers and lyricists, will continue Sept. 28 at the Triad in Manhattan.

Dreamlight will present the 7 PM concert, which will boast the talents of Jared Gertner (Spelling Bee), Jesse Johnson (Glory Days), Randy Redd (Parade, Ring of Fire) and Kathy Voytko (Pirate Queen, The Frogs). Billy Bustamante will host.

The evening will feature the works of out-of-town songwriters, including Chicago's Brian Mazaferri; Alan Schmuckler and Michael Mahler; Philadelphia's Michael Biello and Dan Martin; and Washington D.C.'s Matt Conner.
