News Ghost Tony Nominee Da'Vine Joy Randolph Set for Reading of Moonlight on the Bayou A staged reading of Lindsey Ferrentino’s Moonlight on the Bayou will be presented May 3 at 4:30 PM at The Marilyn Monroe Theatre in New York.

The reading will be directed by Patricia McGregor after being developed with dramaturg Mark Bly. The cast will include Tony nominee Da'Vine Joy Randolph, Don Harvey and Jedadiah Schultz. Moonlight on the Bayou, according to press notes, is described as such: "Oil rig worker Sonny must come off the rig to care for his aging father and win back his pregnant girlfriend. Increasingly sleep deprived, Sonny can’t stop having nightmares about his father’s legends of New Orleans. Can he recreate home in a post-Katrina FEMA trailer before it's too late?"

The play is a current finalist for The Leah Ryan Emerging Writer’s Award.
