Frank D. Gilroy's romantic comedy, The Only Game in Town, will be revived July 28 at the Metropole Theatre Works and will run through Aug. 27. Daston Kalili directs a cast that includes Laura Moe, Christopher Wright, Paul Gregory and Bernard Gillespie.
Gilroy's story deals with a Vegas dancer who is pushing thirty and facing the downside of her career. She's torn between two men who both want her exclusively--a wealthy, but married businessman and a charming musician who is an inveterate gambler.
Gilroy's many plays include Present Tense, Who'll Save the Plowboy and The Subject Was Roses, which was adapted into a film.
Metropole Theatre Works is located at 1277 N. Wilton Place. For tickets and information call (310) 967-1373.
