News   Gilroy's Only Game in Town Comes to L.A.'s Metropole, July 28 Frank D. Gilroy's romantic comedy, The Only Game in Town, will be revived July 28 at the Metropole Theatre Works and will run through Aug. 27. Daston Kalili directs a cast that includes Laura Moe, Christopher Wright, Paul Gregory and Bernard Gillespie.

Frank D. Gilroy's romantic comedy, The Only Game in Town, will be revived July 28 at the Metropole Theatre Works and will run through Aug. 27. Daston Kalili directs a cast that includes Laura Moe, Christopher Wright, Paul Gregory and Bernard Gillespie.

Gilroy's story deals with a Vegas dancer who is pushing thirty and facing the downside of her career. She's torn between two men who both want her exclusively--a wealthy, but married businessman and a charming musician who is an inveterate gambler.

Gilroy's many plays include Present Tense, Who'll Save the Plowboy and The Subject Was Roses, which was adapted into a film.
