Stage and screen actor Gina Gershon will portray First Lady Melania Trump in the New York premiere of The 1st Annual Trump Family Special, a musical comedy that will play at the Triad Theatre Thursday nights beginning September 13. In the new satirical cabaret show, Ivanka Trump interviews members of her family as they wait to perform a televised event for the Trump TV network.

The limited engagement of The 1st Annual Trump Family Special will run through December 6.

Joining Gershon—who has played Melania Trump on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon— will be Lisa St. Lou as Ivanka Trump, Marissa Mulder as Marla Maples, Suzanne Sole as Ivana Trump, Peter Hargrave as Eric Trump, Brian Sills as Donald Trump Jr., Michael Sheehy as Jeremiah, the director, and Glen Pannell as Mike Pence.

The 1st Annual Trump Family Special is created by Danny Salles and features book, lyrics and direction by Salles, with music and additional lyrics by Tor Hyams and St. Lou (formerly Rothauser). Benji Schwimmer is the show's choreographer.

Best known for her work on screen in Showgirls, Cocktail, and Bound, Gershon also co-starred in the hit Broadway revival of Boeing-Boeing and as Rosie in the 2009 Broadway revival of Bye Bye Birdie. She made her Café Carlyle debut this summer with Wild Women Don’t Get the Blues.

The 1st Annual Trump Family Special will feature scenic and lighting design by David Goldstein and costumes by Angela Borst. The production stage manager is Carol Sullivan; and the production is produced by Semi-Cool Productions. Visceral Entertainment (Michael Chase Gosselin and Tim Sulka) is executive producer.
