Classic Arts News Giuseppe di Stefano, Still in Coma, Moved from Kenya to Milan The injured Italian tenor Giuseppe di Stefano has been moved from Mombasa, Kenya, to San Raffaele hospital in Milan, the Associated Press reports.
On November 30, di Stefano and his wife were attacked at their villa in Diani, about 270 miles from Nairobi. The unidentified assailants were trying to rob the couple.

Di Stefano suffered a blow to the head, and after two operations is still in a coma.

The 83-year-old retired singer was famous for his duets with Maria Callas, and was considered one of the best singers in the world in the 1960s and 1970s.
