News   Givens, Thompson, Williams Join L.A. Monologues, Jan. 23 Robin Givens, Lea Thompson and JoBeth Williams are the new trio of actresses taking over at The Vagina Monologues, the Eve Ensler play now in a hit run at the Canon Theatre in Beverly Hills. The triumvirate will be seen Jan. 23- Feb. 11, following Swoosie Kurtz, Jenifer Lewis and Brooke Shields, who left the show Jan. 21.

The Vagina Monologues offers a new cast every three weeks. Joe Mantello directs. Ensler's script is based on interviews with a diverse group of women talking about an intimate subject with humor, frankness and wisdom.

A portion of every full price ticket, plus a percentage of the production's profits, will be donated to the V- Day Fund, which supports groups working to end violence against women. The show's producers are James Freydberg, Yvette Fromer and William P. Suter.
