The cast of "Glee" and "Mad Men" star Bryan Batt will also appear at the ceremony; those shows are nominated in the Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Drama Series categories, respectively. Lambert is up for Outstanding Music Artist for his "For Your Entertainment" album. The GLAAD Media Awards "recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives." The New York awards took place March 13 at the Marriot Marquis in Times Square. The San Francisco awards will take place June 13 at the Westin St. Francis.

Wilson Cruz co-hosts the awards in Los Angeles with Candis Cayne. Others scheduled to participate in the event include Johnny Weir, Chaz Bono, Benjamin Bratt, Cat Cora, Eric Dane, Tom Ford, Katarina Graham, Scott Fujita, Brad Goreski, Rob Halford, Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, Jason Lewis, RuPaul, B. Scott and Sofia Vergara.

Wanda Sykes will be honored with the Stephen F. Kolzak Award, and Drew Barrymore will be presented with the Vanguard Award.

The evening begins with a cocktail reception and silent auction at 4:30 PM, followed by the dinner and awards ceremony at 6:30 PM. A celebrity after-party will begin immediately following the ceremony.
