Directed by John Gould Rubin, performances will begin Sept. 8 at the McGinn Cazale Theatre with an official opening Sept 20. Performances will continue through Oct. 11.
The cast will feature Sharon Maguire, Ashley Austin Morris, Jay Patterson, Concetta Tomei and Joe Urla.
In the Daylight, according to press notes, is a "darkly comic tale about a well-known writer and his homecoming to a family he has been avoiding for many years. As the play unfolds we discover the true reasons for his extended absence and the dark secrets his family has been keeping."
Glazer is also the author of Stain, which was recently published by Samuel French after a well-received production in New York.
