It's been known for some time that the "Glee" fall season would wrap on Dec. 9 with the glee-club misfits at the fictional William McKinley High School reaching "sectionals." However, Fox has just announced that it'll be a long wait before the music-filled TV dramedy returns with new episodes — April 13, to be exact.
The good news is that, as anticipated, "Glee" will get the most coveted lead-in on television: "American Idol," the top-rated show of the past seven years. "Glee" will move to Tuesdays, airing after the live "Idol" performance show, which will mean that Gleeks should adjust their DVRs when "Idol" runs late, as it did frequently last season.
During the show's hiatus, Gleeks will have to content themselves by doodling pictures of Mattthew Morrison and Lea Michele in the margins of their notebooks.
