PlayBlog "Glee" Star Chris Colfer Makes "Time 100" (Video) Chris Colfer has been named one of Time magazine's "Time 100," the annual round-up of the world's most influential people.

The openly gay actor stars as Kurt Hummel on the Fox series "Glee." He has been nominated for an Emmy Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award and won the Golden Globe for his performance as the openly gay teenager on the series.

Co-star Dianna Agron, who plays Quinn Fabray on "Glee," said about the actor in Time, "The honesty that he infuses into his 'Glee' character, Kurt, leaves you reeling. Our cast is blessed to hear things like 'Your character has helped me through this, or helped me do that,' but none more so than Chris."

To make the list, Colfer is one of the "artists and activists, reformers and researchers, heads of state and captains of industry [whose] ideas spark dialogue and dissent and sometimes even revolution."
