Lynch made her Broadway bow last season as Miss Hannigan in the revival of Annie, and she has a few more roles she'd like to tackle.

"You know, I've always wanted to play Mame  — in the musical and the play," she told Playbill.com, just before taking the stage for her sold-out 54 Below performance. "Auntie Mame is the play, and the musical, of course, is Mame. I've always wanted to play that. Everybody wants to. When you get to be my age, you want to play Mama Rose [in Gypsy], but that's been done a lot lately in New York, so I think I'll hold off on that. Nobody's asked me either, so. And I love some of the classic American plays like Little Foxes and Arthur Miller's stuff. I love that stuff, too."

Lynch began her theatrical career and developed her comic skills at The Second City, Steppenwolf Theatre and in many church basements all over the greater Chicago-land area. In addition to "Glee," her TV credits include "Desperate Housewives" and "Weeds," as well as the final season of "The L Word" opposite Cybill Shepherd. She has had recurring roles on "Two and a Half Men," where she was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress, "Criminal Minds" and "The New Adventures of Old Christine." Lynch's many film credits include "Julie & Julia," "For Your Consideration," "A Mighty Wind," "Best in Show," "Talladega Nights," "The 40 Year Old Virgin," "Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events" and more.
