News Glory Crampton Releases Solo CD "Unusual Way"; Includes Duets with Bjorn Olsson, Lauren Kennedy Glory Crampton, who created the role of Christine in the Maury Yeston-Arthur Kopit musical Phantom, has released her first solo album, "Unusual Way," on Jay Records.

The album features Crampton's favorite musical works by composers who have played a part in her career and covers both classic Broadway and contemporary material. Duets with Bjorn Olsson, Lauren Kennedy and James Rainbird  are also featured. The National Symphony Orchestra accompanies Crampton on the album, which was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London. In addition to Phantom, Crampton has appeared in productions of The Fantasticks, My Fair Lady, Camelot, Carousel, Guys and Dolls and Hello, Dolly!
