Dorset Theatre Festival's summer season presented Kate Hamill's Pride and Prejudice, adapted from the novel by Jane Austen, August 9–25. The festival, now in its 41st season, will continue with Holland Taylor’s Ann, starring Jayne Atkinson (August 29–September 1).

Pride and Prejudice featured a cast that included Krystel Lucas as Jane/Miss DeBourgh, Jessica Frey as Lizzy, Aishling Pembroke as Lydia/Lady Catherine, Dave Quay Mr. Darcy, Ryan Quinn as Mr. Collins/Mr. Wickham/Miss Bingley, Carman Lacivita as Mr. Bingley/Mary, Omar Robinson as Charlotte Lucas/Mr. Bennet, and Joan Coombs as Mrs. Bennet.

The Dorset Playhouse is located at 104 Cheney Road, Dorset, Vermont.
