Beetlejuice’s Alex Brightman hosted the first It’s (Game) Showtime, the musical's weekly live game show, at the Winter Garden Theatre April 2. Every Tuesday, the musical will invite two lottery participants to compete in a live trivia game, hosted by a Beetlejuice cast member, to win a pair of tickets to that evening’s performance.

The Broadway production of Beetlejuice, inspired by Tim Burton’s 1988 dark comedy, is set to open April 25 after beginning preview performances March 28. Taking on the title “freelance bio-exorcist” is Tony nominee Brightmanm with Sophia Anne Caruso starring alongside him as teenage loner Lydia.

The musical, directed by Alex Timbers and choreographed by Connor Gallagher, features a score by Eddie Perfect and a book by Anthony King and Scott Brown.

Rounding out the principal cast are Tony nominees Kerry Butler and Rob McClure as Barbara and Adam Maitland and Leslie Kritzer and Adam Dannheisser as Delia and Charles Deetz.

Beetlejuice on Broadway features orchestrations by music supervisor Kris Kukul, sets by David Korins, costumes by William Ivey Long, lighting design by Kenneth Posner, sound design by Peter Hylenski, projection design by Peter Nigrini, puppet design by Michael Curry, special effects by Jeremy Chernick, and illusions from Michael Weber.
