The New Orleans theatre company celebrated its new permanent home with an inaugural ball January 19.
Southern Rep Theatre celebrated the grand opening of its new home January 19 in New Orleans. The non-profit theatre company has assumed permanent residence at the former St. Rose de Lima Church, which closed after Hurricane Katrina.
To commemorate the company’s new permanent home, Southern Rep Theatre’s celebration included a tour of the venue, live entertainment, art installations, and more, all honoring New Orleans and the Southern Rep’s history.
