The latest play from Jackie Sibblies Drury, Marys Seacole, began performance February 9 at Lincoln Center Theater’s Claire Tow Theater as part of the LCT3 season. The production, which opens February 25, will run through March 24. Drury is best known for her play Fairview, which recently announced its upcoming Off-Broadway return.

Written by Drury and directed by Obie winner Lileana Blain-Cruz (Pipeline), the story the drama follows the story of a passionate and driven Jamaican woman, Mary (Quincy Tyler Bernstine) and her adventures across the globe and across time—from the Crimean War zone to a modern-day nursing home.
