The original Broadway cast of Mean Girls headed into the studio to record a cast album. The Atlantic Records album will drop digitally May 18 before a physical release June 15. Digital pre-orders and pre-saves are available now.

The show, featuring a score by composer Jeff Richmond (husband to the musical's book writer and the 2004 film’s screenwriter Tina Fey) and lyricist Nell Benjamin, opened April 8 at the August Wilson Theatre.

The Casey Nicholaw-helmed production features Erika Henningsen as Cady Heron, Taylor Louderman as Regina George, Ashley Park as Gretchen Wieners, Kate Rockwell as Karen Smith, Kerry Butler as Ms. Norbury, Barrett Wilbert Weed as Janis Sarkisian, Grey Henson as Damian Hubbard, Cheech Manohar as Kevin Gnapoor, Kyle Selig as Aaron Samuels, and Rick Younger as Mr. Duvall.
