News Godspell Cast to Perform Songs of Kerrigan and Lowdermilk Sept. 23 Phoebe Strole, Telly Leung, Joshua Henry and Celisse Henderson will be among the performers interpreting the songs of Kait Kerrigan and Brian Lowdermilk on Sept. 23.

Presented as part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival's concerts at the Zipper Factory, Godspell director Daniel Goldstein will direct the evening that features several cast members from the postponed Broadway production of the Stephen Schwartz musical.

Original Spring Awakening cast member Strole and Heléne Yorke (Walmartopia) will join Godspell cast members Henry, Uzo Aduba, Sara Chase, Henderson, Morgan James, Leung, Dana Steingold and Maria Thayer.

"Kait and Brian are two of the most talented writers I know, and this is the most talented cast I've ever worked with, so putting the two together seemed like a no-brainer. Though the world will see this company in the future, it's great to have a chance to show them off a bit now," said director Goldstein in a statement.

Composer Lowdermilk will be featured on piano, with fellow band members Greg Joseph and Randy Landau.

Kerrigan and Lowdermilk have penned the musicals Henry & Mudge, The Unauthorized Autobiography of Samantha Brown, The Woman Upstairs and Wrong Number. Tickets for the 10 PM concert, priced $20, are available by visiting NYMF.

The Zipper Factory is located in Manhattan at 336 West 37th Street.
