News Godspell Will Offer "Pay-Your-Age Night" and Corbin Bleu Talkback May 17 The Broadway revival of Stephen Schwartz's Godspell will offer a "Pay-Your-Age Night" May 17.

Starting at 5 PM that day, a limited number of tickets will be available at the Circle in the Square Box Office (1633 Broadway at 50th St.). The ticket price: the theatregoer's age.

Producer Ken Davenport said in a statement, "Whenever I talk to fellow producers about the future of the theater, I hear one thing: 'We need to get more young people to the theater!'  And whenever I talk to theatergoers, I hear, 'Theater tickets are so expensive!' So, I thought, what if we could do something that could combat both issues at the same time? And Pay-Your-Age Night was born. Broadway economics are such that it wouldn't be feasible for us or any show to do this year round. But, in order to encourage more young people to come to the theater, and in order to encourage more parents to bring their children to the theater, for one night, we certainly can."

Customers must present a valid form of government or school ID to verify proof of age. One ID will be required for every Pay-Your-Age ticket purchased.

Following that performance, co-star Corbin Bleu will take part in a post-show talkback and audience Q&A, hosted by Julie James of Sirius XM Radio's "On Broadway" channel.
