Gold, Hart and Knight will be part of the production March 31-April 25, and Roberts will join the cast beginning April 28 (through May 23). The current cast (through March 28) includes Didi Conn, Fran Drescher, Jayne Houdyshell, Carol Kane and Natasha Lyonne.

Karen Carpenter directs the Ephron play, which is based on Ilene Beckerman's book of the same name. Performances began Sept. 21, 2009.

The play, according to press notes, "uses clothing and accessories and the memories they trigger to tell funny and often poignant stories that all women can relate to."

The design team includes Jo Winiarski (scenic design), Jessica Jahn (costume design), Jeff Croiter (lighting design), Walter Trarbach (sound design) and Maria Verel (make-up design).

Carpenter also directed the Monday night readings of Love, Loss, and What I Wore that were presented this past winter and spring as a benefit for Dress for Success. A portion of the proceeds from the current run will benefit Dress for Success.
