The 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards are presented January 8. The live ceremony will be broadcast starting at 8 PM ET on NBC.

The show will be hosted by Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon, who was featured on the recent Hamilton Mixtape.

Viola Davis (two-time Tony Award winner), Anna Kendrick (Tony nominee), Eddie Redmayne (Tony winner), Nicole Kidman (three-time Golden Globe Award winner), Jessica Chastain, and Sienna Miller are among celebrities who will bestow the Golden Globe Awards on behalf of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, January 8.

Fences, La La Land and Manchester by the Sea, movies packed with Broadway talent, are among the films and shows that earned nominations for the Golden Globes, which were announced December 12 in Los Angeles.

Stage stars who garnered Golden Globe nods include Denzel Washington and Davis of Fences, both of whom won Tony Awards for playing the same roles in the most recent Broadway revival of the August Wilson play, though the late Wilson's screenplay, based on his Pulitzer-winning drama, was not nominated.

The Golden Globe nominations capped an epic week for Best Film nominee La La Land songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, whose Dear Even Hansen opened on Broadway to raves December 4.

Tony, Pulitzer, Grammy, and Emmy winner Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton) is in line for another major award, being nominated for Best Song for a tune from Disney's Moana.

Liev Schreiber, currently on Broadway in Les Liaisons Dangereuses, was nominated for his performance in TV’s Ray Donovan.

Bryan Cranston, who won a Tony Award for his performance as President Lyndon Baines Johnson in the Broadway production of All the Way, scored a nomination for playing the same role in the TV movie adaptation of the play.

As previously announced, Meryl Streep will be honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award. She is also nominated for Best Actress in a Motion Picture/Comedy for her role in Florence Foster Jenkins. Last year’s recipient of the DeMille Award was Denzel Washington, who is also nominated for a Best Actor/Film this year.
