News Golf: The Musical Will Play Another Round Off-Broadway After a seven-month run in 2003, Golf: The Musical will return Off-Broadway with original cast member Christopher Sutton in tow, beginning Nov. 20 at the Midtown Theatre.

The musical revue, which celebrates the love of the American sport from pro-golf to amateur divot-makers, has enjoyed a healthy regional life since its New York debut seven years ago. Golf: The Musical will officially open Dec. 6.

Golf has book, music and lyrics by Michael Roberts, with direction and choreography by Christopher Scott, who staged the original. The work is based on a concept by Eric Krebs. Ken Lundie will serve as musical director.

The cast will feature Sutton (I Love You, You're Perfect…) as well as Lyn Philistine (Gypsy, Spamalot), Tom Gamblin (Starlight Express, Titanic) and Brian Runbeck (Sly Fox).

Golf has set design by James Joughin, costume design by Bernard Grenier and lighting design by Aaron Spivey.

Golf will be presented Saturdays at 2 PM and Sundays at 3 and 7 PM. Tickets, priced $45, can be purchased by phoning (212) 352-3101 or by visiting GolftheMusical.
