News Goodman Theatre to Stage In the Continuum in 2007 Chicago's Goodman Theatre has added the acclaimed drama In the Continuum to its 2006-07 line-up.

The drama, written by playwright-actors Danai Gurira and Nikkole Salter, will be performed by its creators, directed by Robert O'Hara and run in the Owen Theatre May 25–June 24, 2007. In the Continuum received its world premiere in September 2005 at Primary Stages in New York City. Critical acclaim led to a transfer and several extensions. The play dramatizes the devastating problem of HIV/AIDS among African and African-American women. The show's co-creators portray numerous characters in two parallel stories — a married Zimbabwean woman and a 19-year-old girl from South Central Los Angeles — in this tale told from a woman's perspective.

Still to be announced in the season that marks Robert Falls' 20th anniversary as Goodman Theatre artistic director are two plays, one directed by Falls.
