Marilyn Cooper has the choice character role of housekeeper Pauline and Andrea Chamberlain and Joel Carlton are Nanette and Tom, respectively, in the Goodspeed Opera House revival of No, No, Nanette, July 9-Oct. 2.

The 1925 hit, which features "Tea for Two" and "I Want to Be Happy," had a successful 1971 revival, with a revised book by Burt Shevelove. Goodspeed is using the Shevelove version. Otto Harbach and Frank Mandel wrote the original book, with a score by Vincent Youmans and lyrics by Harbach and Irving Caesar.

The show is classic, frivolous 1920s fare: Nanette drops her ladylike ways for a wild weekend in Atlantic City.

Stephen Terrell will direct as cast of 20 that includes Gerry Vichi (as Jimmy Smith), Margery Beddow (Sue), Mark Martino (Billy Early), Ellen Harvey (Lucille), Donna Lynn Champlin (Betty Brown), Tanya Perkins (Flora Latham) and Jessica Wright (Winnie Winslow). Michael O'Flaherty is musical director. Designers are Howard Jones (set), Suzy Benziger (costumes) and Mary Jo Dondlinger (lighting). The company also includes Mark Adam, Nili Bassman, Ron De Stefano, Marc Kessler, Beckie King, Alisa Klein, Ryan Migge, Elise Molinelli, Amanda Paige, David Rosales, Kim Varhola and Matt Wall.
