The show, which traces the story of how Judy, nee Frances Gumm, made her way from her small-town home to play the role of Dorothy in the classic film musical “The Wizard of Oz,” is scheduled for Sept. 16–Nov. 27, 2016. Conceived by Tina Marie Casamento, the show will have a book by Mark Acito (Allegiance). David Libby will adapt the music, which will include "I Can't Give You Anything But Love," "You Made Me Love You" and "Over the Rainbow.”

The rarely-seen Leslie Bricusse/Anthony Newley musical The Roar of the Greasepaint — The Smell of the Crowd will run May 19–June 26, and a new musical A Sign of the Times featuring the songs made famous by British singer Petula Clark “and other hit-makers of the day” July 28–Sept. 4. The show has an original story by Richard Robin and an original book by comedy writer Bruce Vilanch.
The five-show season subscriptions start at $196. Other options include a season ticket for all three shows at The Goodspeed - starting at $108, or a season ticket for both shows at The Terris Theatre for $88.
