The Goodspeed Musicals production of Lionel Bart’s Oliver! runs June 29–September 8 at The Goodspeed in East Haddam, Connecticut. Rob Ruggiero directs; James Gray choreographs.

The cast is led by Elijah Rayman (The Winter's Tale at Theatre for a New Audience) as Oliver, Donald Corren (Souvenir) as Fagin, Brandon Andrus (Side Show) as Bill Sikes, EJ Zimmerman (Les Miserables) as Nancy, and Gavin Swartz (Matilda the Musical) as The Artful Dodger.

The ensemble features Miranda Gelch as Bet and Charlotte, Jordana Grolnick, Richard R. Henry as Mr. Bumble, Joy Hermalyn as Mrs. Corney, Shannon Lee Jones as Old Sally, Megan Loomis, Andrew Mayer as Noah Claypole, Karen Murphy as Mrs. Sowerberry and Mrs. Bedwin, Russell Rinker, Jamie LaVerdiere as Mr. Sowerberry and Dr. Grimwig, Alex Stewart, Owen Tabaka as Charley Bates, and James Young as Mr. Brownlow.

The swings are Dace McNally and Jessica Crilley, and the kids company includes EmmaRose Arelt, Gordon Beck, Owen Bryan, Alexa Calegari, Ava Cannan, Logan Erwin, Avital Goldberg-Curran, Lauren Greco, Brendan Reilly Harris, Riley Kuever, Ava Loughlin, Meghan Pratt, and Colin Soto.

Based on the Charles Dickens classic, the musical follows the story of orphan Oliver Twist, who escapes to the streets of Victorian London, where he meets Fagin, the Artful Dodger, and a band of child pickpockets. Songs include “Where Is Love?,” “Food! Glorious Food!,” and “As Long As He Needs Me.”

The production also features scenic design by Michael Schweikardt, costume design by Alejo Vietti, lighting design by John Lasiter, sound design by Jay Hilton, wig and hair design by Mark Adam Rampmeyer, orchestrations by Dan DeLange, music direction by Michael O’Flaherty, and casting by Paul Hardt (Stewart/Whitley Casting). The production stage manager is Bradley G. Spachman.
