News GOOFIEST PHOTO of 2000: What Happened to Me? at La MaMa E.T.C. WHAT HAPPENED TO ME? is the name of the play, presented at LaMaMa last spring. The answer is anybody's guess. If we were to sleuth out the answer, our first question would be, as neither of the guns are pointed at him, why is the guy in the middle screaming? Since the production notes say that playwright Harold Dean James' work resembles August Strindberg's The Dream Play, perhaps the actor is merely reacting to the everyday angst of life among other humans. Or perhaps he is yelling, "Wait! Photographer! Don't Shoot Yet! We're not ready! Stop!" But the most pressing question prompted by this photo concerns the gunslinger to the right. Couldn't Alec Baldwin get a better gig than this?
