Richard Foreman made art twice this year - Bad Boy Nietzche and Now That Communism Is Dead, My Life Feels Empty. And both pieces produced goofy art. Juliana Francis licks the bad boy's toast for Gary Wilmes's pleasure while Tony Torn and Jay Smith take on the dogs - be they puppet Chihuahuas or menacing man-dog creatures in Communism. We don't know why. That's just what Foreman does.
