News Google's "Summer with Shakespeare" Site Features Bard's Oeuvre Online Timed with when stages across the country begin their summer Bard festivals — including The Public Theater's Shakespeare in the Park — the internet website Google has launched an online catalog of William Shakespeare's oeuvre.

Part of the company's Google Book Search, the "Summer with Shakespeare" site is billed as "a place to find and search all the plays of Shakespeare — from the popular favorites to the lesser-known gems," according to Google. Divided by genre (Comedy, Tragedy, Romance and History), visitors to the site can explore each drama by lines, titles and even search by link for ways to buy a copy. The site notes "that some print versions of Shakespeare's plays may not be in the public domain everywhere in the world. Where copyright status is in question, the publication will not appear in Full Book View."

Google also boasts other ways to explore Shakespeare's world via their site including a standard Google Web Search, scholarly perspectives with Google Scholar, sharing with Shakespeare enthusiasts in Google Groups, watching the Bard in action on Google Video, seeing Shakespearean images on Google Image Search, reading up on the latest with Google News and virtually visiting the Globe Theater and other landmarks with Google Earth.
