News Got Merman? McKenzie Revives Ethel Merman's Broadway! Beginning Sept. 19 Rita McKenzie is reviving her award-winning one-woman show, Ethel Merman's Broadway!, to celebrate what would have been the late Broadway star's 100th birthday.

McKenzie is presenting Merman's Broadway Sept. 19-Oct. 7 at the Ivoryton Playhouse in Ivoryton, CT. The production features more than 20 Merman signature tunes as well as anecdotes about the Broadway star of Gypsy, Call Me Madam, Anything Goes and Annie Get Your Gun. Theatregoers can expect to hear such tunes as "I Got Rhythm," "There's No Business Like Show Business" and "Everything's Coming Up Roses," among others. Show times are Wednesday and Thursday at 7:30 PM, Friday and Saturday at 8 PM and Sunday at 2 PM.

McKenzie has presented her Merman tribute at the John Houseman Theatre in Manhattan, Carnegie Hall, the Pasadena Playhouse, Harrah's Casino Hotel in Atlantic City and an eight-city tour in Japan. She will also soon bring Merman to London and Toronto.
