News Graae and Towers to Star in Falcon Theatre's Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks Burbank's Falcon Theatre will present a limited engagement of Richard Alfieri's Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks beginning Oct. 22.

Directed by Arthur Allan Seidelman, the production will officially open Oct. 31 and play through Nov. 23. The two-hander will co-star Constance Towers and Jason Graae. Kay Cole choreographs.

"It's hate at first sight when Lily (Constance Towers), a formidable retired woman, hires Michael (Jason Graae), an acerbic ex-Broadway chorus boy, to give her private dance lessons in her Florida condo," according to press notes. "As Michael teaches Lily to dance, they both learn some unexpected lessons in life. Part comedy, part drama, part cha-cha-cha."

Jason Graae starred on Broadway in A Grand Night for Singing, Falsettos, Stardust and Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up?, and appeared in the Hollywood Bowl concert version of The Music Man as Marcellus Washburn. His Off-Broadway credits include roles in Forever Plaid; Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh; Olympus On My Mind; and All in the Timing. Graae also starred in the Reprise! concerts of Of Thee I Sing!, Anything Goes and The Boys from Syracuse.

Constance Towers played Anna opposite Yul Brynner in the 1977 revival of The King and I. She starred opposite John Wayne in "The Horse Soldiers" and received an Emmy nomination for her work on "Once in Her Life." Towers has also been seen in "Capitol" and "General Hospital" and is the recipient of the New York Critics Outer Circle Award for Excellence in the Theatre, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts Achievement Award, and Best Musical Actress Award of the New Jersey Drama Critics Association.

Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks played a brief Broadway run in fall 2003. The New York cast featured stage and screen veteran Polly Bergen and Mark Hamill of "Star Wars" fame. The Falcon Theatre is located at 4252 Riverside Drive in Burbank, CA. For tickets call (818) 955-8101 or visit www.FalconTheatre.com.
