Classic Arts Features Grapes of Wrath Concert, with Clark, Ebersole, Gunn, to Play Carnegie Hall in 2010 Tony Award-winning The Light in the Piazza star Victoria Clark will play Ma Joad in a concert version of Ricky Ian Gordon and Michael Korie's The Grapes of Wrath in March 2010 at Carnegie Hall.

The March 22, 2010, concert is part of The Collegiate Chorale season. Show time is 8 PM.

The evening, according to the Chorale's website, will be narrated by Academy Award winner Jane Fonda and will also boast the talents of Nathan Gunn as Tom Joad, Elizabeth Futral as Rosasharn, Anthony Dean Griffey as Jim Casy, Peter Halverson as Pa Joad, Stephen Powell as Uncle John, Andrew Wilkowske as Noah,

Steven Pasquale as Al, Christine Ebersole as Mae/Waitress, Matthew Worth as Ragged Man/Connie Rivers/Truck Driver and Madeline Gunn as Ruthie.

Ted Sperling will conduct The American Symphony Orchestra.

The Grapes of Wrath : based on the novel by John Steinbeck : features music by Ricky Ian Gordon and a libretto by Michael Korie. The opera made its debut in February 2007 at the Minnesota Opera Company.

A three-disc "Grapes of Wrath" boxed set is available on the PS Classics label.
