Serenbe Playhouse, the award-winning Georgia Theatre company that has garnered national attention for its site-specific, outdoor stagings (including this year’s Miss Saigon that utilized an actual army helicopter), has announced six productions for its upcoming season.

Under the artistic direction of Brian Clowdus, each Serenbe production uses a specific location throughout its Chattahoochee Hills, GA, home, as its setting.

The season will kick off with Grease “staged as a vintage drive-in with a fresh, sexy, modern vibe” (March 23-April 16, 2017); followed by Robin Hood that promises to “lead patrons in an immersive zip-line experience” (June 2-August 13); the Kander and Ebb classic Cabaret, starring Clowdus as the Emcee (August 3-27); The Sleepy Hollow Experience (September 28-November 5); and The Snow Queen (November 30-December 30).
