News Greene, Sheehy and Silverman Set for Old Masters Workshop at Berkshire Lab The Berkshire Playwrights Lab will present a workshop presentation of Brown Playwrighting Graduate Sam Marks' The Old Masters on July 1.

Staged at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center at 8 PM, the free workshop of will feature Jocelyn Greene (Ashes), Ean Sheehy (Sundance) and Miriam Silverman (Variations on a Theme). Playwrights Lab literary associate Daniel Winerman will direct.

The Old Masters, according to press notes, "concerns Ben, an unsatisfied artist-turned-teacher with a pregnant wife and a new house who receives an unexpected visit from a missing friend's lover, with a box of paintings in tow, which stirs up old dreams and desires. It is about creativity, growing up, and choosing between the life you have versus the life you've always wanted."

Marks' plays also include The Joke, Nelson, Craft and The Bigger Man. He is currently at work developing a screenplay of "This American Life."
