EW Online reports that Groff ("Taking Woodstock," The Singing Forest, The Bacchae) has been enlisted to appear as the lead male singer of rival group "Vocal Adrenaline" in five or six episodes of "Glee." Groff's character will also be written as a potential love interest for Michele's character, Rachel. "Vocal Adrenaline" was showcased on the pilot episode, knocking Amy Winehouse's "Rehab" out of the park.
The "Glee" franchise is also going strong, with 11 out of the 20 singles from the series ranking on the iTunes Top 300 Song list. As of Oct. 19 the songs and their ranks follow: "Keep Holding On" (45), "It's My Life/Confessions" (57), "No Air" (58), "Halo/Walking On Sunshine" (67), "Don't Stop Believin'" (87), "Hate On Me" (101), "Somebody to Love" (105), "Taking Chances" (166), "Alone" (168), "You Keep Me Hangin' On" (196) and "Take A Bow" (215).
