Created as a benefit for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, Be-In! presents cast members from Hair performing songs inspired by Hair's message of peace, love and freedom. Both the July 7 and Aug. 11 9:30 PM concerts are sold-out. Following a 40th anniversary concert of Hair presented last September, much of that cast will return for a full production, under the direction of Diane Paulus, that runs July 22-Aug. 17 in Central Park.

Hair features Jonathan Groff as Claude and Will Swenson as Berger with Patina Renea Miller (Dionne), Allison Case (Crissy), Caryn Lyn-Manuel (Sheila), Kacie Sheik (Jeanie), Bryce Ryness (Woof), Darius Nichols (Hud), Nicole Lewis (White Boys Trio/Tribe), Megan Reinking (Black Boys Trio/Tribe), Saycon Sengbloh (White Boys Trio/Tribe), Andrew Kober (Father/Margaret Mead) and Megan Lawrence (Mother). The ensemble comprises Ato Blankson-Wood, Steel Burkhardt, Lauren Elder, Allison Guinn, Anthony Hollock, Kaitlin Kiyan, John M. Moauro, Brandon Pearson, Paris Remillard, Maya Sharpe, Theo Stockman and Tommar Wilson.
